What would be your advice for a bride going dress shopping? – “Always have the wedding date set and venue booked and only start shopping for your dress when you are seriously ready to make your purchase! Have a budget in mind and be honest about it and always remember that there will be additional alteration costs. Limit your guests to 2-3, too many opinions will only confuse and upset you. Shop with an open mind and you may be surprised”
Do most Bride’s come to you knowing exactly what style they want? – “Sometimes, but more often they either looking for some friendly guidance or haven’t yet found ‘the one’ and that could be because they are not trying dresses suiting their body shape or fabric to complement their skin tone. We are finding that brides today have such a large choice in dresses that it can actually make things more difficult for her”
Are you seeing any current trends for dresses? – “No quite the opposite, there seems to be a wide variety of trends at the moment so our bridal collection is ever changing as we add dresses and gowns to suit all our brides requirements. Brides are so lucky these days with such a wonderful choice of style of wedding and venues available to choose from. so it is very important to us that we have the right dress to suit their type of wedding”
